The past few weeks have seen images leaking about Nintendo developing "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD." The game is a remaster of the entry of the series initially unveiled on GameCube and Wii.
During the recent Nintendo Direct event, the Japanese publisher officially announced that the game is in development and a new Amiibo figure portraying Link in his wolf state from the game will be released alongside it.
Some stills of "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD," Wolf Link Amiibo, have emerged on the internet, revealing the unique figure, according to Neogaf.
In the recent event, the Japanese company confirmed that the Wolf Link Amiibo will only be available in the beginning as part of the game's Amiibo bundle, in addition to a copy of the game and the Amiibo figure.
Because of the announcement, "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD" bundle is now available for pre-order in various retailers such as Best Buy and GameStop, Geek Snack noted.
Just like "The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker" HD remaster, the new game will not be a simple HD remaster of the original game. However, "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD" will also include some features not available in the original release. The new features include compatibility with Wolf Link Amiibo and the rest of Zelda series Amiibo figures launched as part of the "Super Smash Bros" sequel.
The Nintendo Direct event as well saw a confirmation that the Wolf Link Amiibo will be compatible with the unnamed Zelda releasing on Wii U in 2016.
"The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD" will be launched in 2016 in all regions exclusively on Wii U. Stay tuned for updates about the game.
