New "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 details will feature the rumored identity of the mysterious HYDRA Inhuman, Slingshot added to the show and a new episode 9 promo.

A new cast member will be added in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 as "McFarland, USA" actress Natalia Cordova-Buckley will be playing the role of Yo Yo Rodriguez/Slingshot in the series, Screenrant reported. Slingshot in the comics has superhuman speed and can bounce back from his previous location hence her code name. She is also a member of the Secret Warriors and in the show, Daisy Johnson/Quake (Chloe Bennet) has been trying assemble her own team consisting of super powered individuals for S.H.I.E.L.D., but so far has been unsuccessful.

With Slingshot added to the show, it seems that Daisy's Secret Warriors team is about to begins as other characters rumored to join the team include Lincoln Campbell/ Sparkplug (Luke Mitchell), Alphonso "Mack" MacKenzie (Henry Simmons), Mike Peterson/Deathlok (J. August Richards) Sebastian Druid and Stonewall.

Aside from the new cast member, a new promo for episode 9 titled "Closure will feature Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and former agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton) facing-off in one of the most brutal confrontations of their lives. Both Coulson and Ward have a long history as they were once teammates within the S.H.I.E.L.D. until they found out that Ward was a HYDRA agent in season 1. Ward has done horrible things to his former friends and has assembled his own HYDRA team to take out Coulson's team. Episode 9 will likely bring "closure" to the rivalry between Coulson and Ward.

The showrunners also teased a powerful revelation in midseason finale for season 3 as Gregg told Entertainment Weekly that it will two "shocking" twists and both of them will have a huge impact bigger than the last two seasons.

Lastly, YouTube channel Emergency Awesome speculated that HYDRA's mystery Inhuman ally could be someone from Marvel comics. HYDRA member Gideon Malick (Powers Boothe) explained in episode 8 that HYDRA existed long before and the first to discovered the Kree monolith.

HYDRA has been sending out humans from the planet that transported Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) within the show as "sacrifices" and has been engineering an army of Inhumans using the ATCU for the so called HYDRA Inhuman leader. It speculated that Inhuman from the planet is the Unspoken, a powerful Inhuman and Black Bolt's predecessor in the comics. His powers include immortality and the ability to manifest any super powers he could wish for making him the most powerful of the Inhumans.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 airs on Tuesday at 9PM E.T on ABC.
