Giuliana Rancic reportedly went out of her way to avoid Zendaya at the recent AMAs red carpet. The "Giuliana and Bill" star allegedly asked her co-host Terrence Jenkins to take over to avoid any awkward encounters.
According to Mail Online, Rancic was still uncomfortable talking to Zendaya, after she dissed her at the 2015 Academy Awards. In February, the E! host claimed that the 19-year-old "smelled of weed" since she was sporting dreadlocks back then.
The "Shake It Up" star immediately took to Twitter to express her frustrations over Rancic's comment. Rancic then issued a public apology, admitting that she crossed the line and said that she did not intend to hurt the Disney alum in any way.
"Though the stars had been taking turns interviewing celebrities on the carpet, it was clear why Terrence had opted to chat with Zendaya instead of Giuliana," the publication noted.
In other news, Rancic has also fired at critics who claim that she is getting way too skinny. Early this week, she posted a photo of burger with the caption, "Yes, I really did eat it... and finish it #eataburger"
Fans of "Fashion Police" have long been criticized Rancic for her small frame, with some even accusing her of having an eating disorder.
Speaking to People, Rancic explained that the medicine she has been prescribed due to her breast cancer diagnosis in 2011 is keeping her from gaining weight. The host said that she finds all the comments hurtful.
"I'm sorry that some people think I'm disgustingly skinny, as they put it, but there's nothing I can do," she explained.
