Hackers interrupted the Christmas season by disrupting the Xbox Live and Sony PlayStation networks. However, Rockstar has stood strong by deciding to release the extended version of Grand Theft Auto 5. The big name in the gaming industry has plans to come out with the most successful sequel extension. And since PlayStation and Xbox Live networks have been restored so fans are all excited about what's in store for them.
The new update targets the action related items, which take the deadly mission and heist experience to a new level. Gamers will find surprises in the weapons, new weather settings, hot suits and even the outfits. The weapons directory will feature updated and more powerful proximity mines. New collection of clothing will be introduced to target the holiday crowd. The weather has been decorated with more colorful and iconic changes that include snowfall in the winter. The weather relating snowball fight was introduced in GTA San Andreas first but the feature is not available in the online segment now. However, the latest update 1.19 will come out with some festive arrangements for a better open world gaming experience.
GTA update is incomplete without the vehicle segment. Free roaming will be more exciting with the latest vehicles including Ratloader, Jester sports car, Massacro. Gamers can use these rides in their missions as well. Players will be able to access directly the fire launcher missiles for longer period while the proximity mines will be available permanently in GTA 5 online.
Rcokstar announced via the social networking site Twitter that the Christmas special festive event was badly interrupted by the Lizard Squad hackers but the party is not over. As the Xbox Live and PlayStation networks are back online, fans can update and enjoy the new version of GTA 5.
