Square Enix is offering fans a holiday sale and free expansion update for “Lara Croft GO” in the spirit of Thanksgiving.
The Japanese video game publisher and developer has slashed the “Lara Croft GO” price from$5 to a more affordable $2.99, Ubergizmo reported. “Lara Croft GO” has been updated as well to version 2.0 called The Shard of Life, offering a new chapter containing 26 new puzzles. This first expansion brings the game’s content total to 101 puzzles across six chapters.
The update will also introduce two new artifacts that gamers can collect, a new gem to find, new costumes, and there’s even a new gameplay mechanic which apparently changes enemy behavior completely. These will come along with new challenges and new a locale, which can help Lara explore as she searches for “The Shard of Life” inside the Cave of Fire.
“Lara Croft GO” second version is based on the acclaimed brain-teasing gameplay of “Hitman Go,” and player can be the titular archaeologist-adventurer that navigates challenging spatial puzzles. It promises to present hard challenges as well as the enemies Lara is set to come across have the ability to regenerate after some time.
Moreover, the new chapter introduces a couple of new costumes for Lara. There is the new classic Lara outfit and the fan-favorite Angel of Darkness outfit, which player can unlock by reassembling the Sacred Beetle. “Lara Croft GO” 2.0 also includes a new snapshot feature, support for Traditional Chinese, and a new language selection menu, according to Android Headlines.
