Google is joining the 2015 Black Friday frenzy and in many cases the tech giant is offering huge discounts on its Nexus line of products and the deals up for grabs well extend not only into Cyber Monday but also through the whole Christmas season. Incredible purchases can go as low as $50.
Such is the case of the second-generation Chromecast stick, which comes in the regular and Audio version, that now sells for only $50. The online Google shopping will commence November 27 and according to BGR, shoppers have until December 25 to take their pick from the wide array of choices.
One device that likely will lure in the most number of buyers is the new Nexus 5X that is assembled again by LG for the Internet search giant. From its regular sticker price of $380 at the Google Play Store, the handset asking price now stands at $299.
For Android fans looking to score the best tablet deal that Google can offer, the HTC-made Nexus 9, issued in 2014, is ready to ship for only $199 that makes slate more tempting when compared to Black Friday deals involving its chief rivals - Apple's iPad models and Samsung's Galaxy tabs.
But if the plan is to get a laptop this holiday season, Google also satisfies with the Chromebook that the Play Store displays with $50 price off. The Google online store, in fact, has a host of discounted products that shoppers can choose from, including digital contents.
For the Cyber Monday weekend, the Play Store is selling apps, music and movies at significantly lower prices.
However, Google's Black Friday online deals seem to have skipped the older Nexus models so those who have included the Motorola Nexus 6 on their shopping list will do well heading out to Amazon, which carries the 2014 vanilla Android flagship. The case damage only amounts to $199.99 with free Prime shipping.
What will unbox is a Midnight Blue, 32GB and SIM-free Nexus 6, which has been factory-upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. BGR noted on its report that this Amazon Nexus 6 will only run on November 27.
