Lamar Odom was close to facing drug charges, according to this article, since he was found unconscious at a Las Vegas Brothel last month. However, due to his health and mental status, he may not be facing those drug charges now.
According to the New York Daily News, Odom was in danger of being prosecuted for cocaine possession and the recommended charge of "use of, or under the influence of, a controlled substance."
It was stated by the women at the brothel that Odom may have been "snorting cocaine in the bathroom." Although they said they have vague knowledge of him snorting anything, they think they heard him snorting something in the bathroom.
However, according to Perez Hilton, Odom's health is not up to par currently and the way his mental state is, the DA is taking this into account before pressing drug charges against him. They think he may not be fit to stand trial now because of his mental state.
Odom has trouble remembering things and doesn't know why he is the way he is right now. Khloe Kardashian said that when he asks what happened, she just tells him he had a brain injury but doesn't tell him how it happened. Odom is not just having trouble remembering things but he also has trouble putting sentences together and is learning to walk and talk again.
Odom's estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian has been by his side since this happened and has even called off the divorce for now to help him sort through his medial issues. She stated recently that she spent Thanksgiving with Odom in his hospital room.
