The latest installment of the ongoing Clash of Clans December update Sneak Peeks confirmed what Supercell has earlier teased - that the COC village game map will be stretched from 40 x 40 to 44 x 44. But the mega-hit strategy game is in for more exciting and deep-impact changes than the tons of feature upgrades being revealed for now, Supercell said.

So far, the Supercell forum discussions pointed to a redefined COC Shield, the new concept that is the Village Guard and the revised Personal Breaks that the game developer said are being introduced to alter the landscape that Clashers have become used to. The highlight of the COC December update is to inject a more active gameplay with Level 11 Town Hall as the centerpiece. Once the Sneak Peeks have been completed and the updates have commenced rolling out, the Clash of Clans will never be the same, Supercell said.

The revelations seen to date are just part of "the bigger picture," which when unwrapped will present a COC gameplay that is better than ever. Supercell is convinced that when the COC update previews have been wrapped up, things will get easier as the company acknowledged that amidst the flood of information being unloaded, confusion among gamers seems inevitable.

"The changes ... may sound drastic and confusing, but in-game everything will be very easy to understand," Gotta Be Mobile said in a report that cites a recent clarification issued by Supercell.

According to COC developer Jonas, what the community is witnessing at the moment reflects an underway effort by Supercell to better the game and the changes, he stressed, will have long-term effects and most certainly for the greater good. Jonas also admitted that the TH11 update appears too complicated for the majority of COC fans but he told Touch Arcade that things will get clearer as the Sneak Peeks progress.

"The developers want a game that makes all players happy playing it," Touch Arcade said on its report.

The COC dev also dismissed the notion that the TH11 update will make the Clash of Clans uninviting to casual gamers, perceived as the majority of the community. On the contrary, "the casual way of playing the game," is fully supported in the upcoming update. Jonas assured that, for instance, COC Farming will not die out as feared by some quarters even if the emphasis on Attack Mode. The casual game mode will practically stay the same, the Supercell staff said.

The bottom line, Supercell said, is that the Clash of Clans December update on its release date will unload far greater benefits than before, balanced settings and a more user-friendly gameplay - all packed in the TH11 feature upgrades.
