Nearly five months after announcing their separation, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are apparently in no hurry to complete their divorce proceedings as recent reports stated that the estranged couple is contemplating for reconciliation, and they put their divorce on hold.
It seems that despite their imminent divorce settlement, the estranged couple has been able to put their differences aside for the sake of their three children, Violet, 9, Seraphina, 7 and Samuel, 3.
"It seems both Ben and Jen have decided that, for the time being, it's unnecessary for them to enter what could potentially be a messy and lengthy divorce battle," Independent Irish quoted a source. "Because they're in therapy they are still living together as friends, to avoid more upheaval for the family."
The couple announced in June that they were divorcing after 10 years of marriage. The announcement was soon followed by the reports that the actor was having an affair with his children's nanny and its revelation was rumored to be one of the major reasons for the breakdown of his marriage.
Despite the differences, both Affleck and Garner have continued to support each other. During the months following the divorce announcement, the "Alias" actress was busy shooting her upcoming movie "Miracles From Heaven" in Atlanta. Her three kids were also stationed there with her while the actor made several visits to catch up with them.
Meanwhile, Garner appeared carefree and happy as she was spotted sharing a laugh with her mother-in-law, Christine Boldt, in Los Angeles on Nov. 29, Sunday, Daily Mail reported. The duo was accompanied by Seraphina who happily held a children's book in one hand.
Most recently, it was also reported that the estranged couple is most likely to spend Christmas together and is still figuring out how they can best spend the festive holidays together.
