"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode 10 titled "The Earworm Reverberation" will again focus on the on-and-off relationship of Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik).
After it was shown in "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 finale episode that Amy broke Sheldon's heart without knowing that he is planning to propose her and had even procured an engagement ring, the upcoming episode once again is likely to touch on the same topic.
"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 showrunner Steven Molaro previously said that Sheldon and Amy are not going to reunite soon. However, it was shown in season 9 episode 9 that Amy has realized Sheldon's importance in her life and even told him that she wants to be his girlfriend again.
In contrast to jumping at the proposal, Sheldon was shown caving in to protect himself from another heart break and eventually refused to become her boyfriend.
However, in "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode 10, Sheldon will bravely turn up at Amy's house and will tell her warmly that she is an "earworm in his heart."
Sheldon's change of heart will be the result of the lyrics of his favorite Beach Boys song due to which he realized how Amy has done so much for him, according to Us Weekly.
The romantic reunion of Amy and Sheldon will result in the end of their platonic relationship and start of a sexual adventure. Things will get steamier by episode 11 in which the pair is expected to have sex.
The sexual-reunion was forecasted by Molaro himself who told Variety that after five years of on-and-off dating, Amy and Sheldon will soon be shown consummating their relationship.
"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode 10 will air on CBS on Dec. 10 after the show's mini-hiatus.
