German Automobile Volkswagen never fails to amaze its consumers on all their products being produced and manufactured worldwide. Some of its top selling creations, which were once featured by 24/7 Wall St., were Volkswagen Beetle, Volkswagen Golf and Volkswagen Passat. Two among these three - Volkswagen Golf and Passat - were considered as first of Volkswagen's new generation cars, after its acquisition of Audi in 1964.
As of to date, the Passat gets more recommendations and positive reviews for having a reliable base, turbo diesel engine and turbo gasoline four cylinder. According to The Augusta Chronicles, Consumer Reports magazine cited that Volkswagen Passat is either rated above average or average in its engine, transmission, brakes and electrical system.
It is said that this Volkswagen model has an ample interior space that can give riders a comfortable ride. Passat, which is equipped with air conditioning that has power windows, mirrors and door locks, also features six speaker audio system, spacious rear seats, huge trunk and Bluetooth handsfree connectivity.
It is also a worthy investment if one will bus Passat as it is categorized in the market as the lowest-priced, starting at $27,645 for Passat TDI, diesel-powered sedan. Some calls it a bargain sedan.
Although this Volkswagen was rated five out five by Federal government, it is said that Passat vehicles made between April 7, 2014 and Nov. 18, 2014 was recalled due to a reported fuel leaks issue that may and can cause fire.
Volkswagen cascaded the notice to all dealers last month. Once owners take their vehicles to the dealers, they would need to replace Passat's fuel rails for free.
