New "Captain America: Civil War" details will feature more Winter Soldier subplots, Spider-Man's true allegiance and the possible death of War Machine in the film.
The first trailer "Captain America: Civil War" has featured both Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans and Tony Stark/ Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) leading two separate teams with one supporting the government's registration act, while the other team is against it. Cap's team consist of Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp) and Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), while Stark's team is comprise of War Machine (Don Cheadle), Vision (Paul Bettany), Black Widow ( Scarlett Johansson), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Spider-Man (Tom Holland).
However, a new speculation suggest that Peter Parker/Spider-Man will likely change sides during "Captain America: Civil War" as Holland told SuperheroHype that Spidey is not about to reveal his secret identity to the whole world and prefers to do his work hiding behind he mask. A reversal of what he did in the comics as Spider-Man unmasked himself to the entire world in support of the Superhuman Registration Act or in this case "the Accords" within the film. The Accords will allow the United States government to "govern" any super powered beings within the country and around the world and handle these individuals under their rule.
Aside from Spider-Man's allegiance, "The Martian" star Sebastian Stan stated in an interview that their will be more subplots for Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier in the movie. Winter Soldier in "Civil War" will search for his past after HYDRA took control of him after the events of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" as Stan explained that due to HYDRA's control on him, he will be torture both emotional and psychological and plans to end it soon. Winter Soldier will also be a key character in "Captain America 3" as Iron Man and his team are after him, while Captain America and his crew defends him.
In other news, a new theory will likely reveal a possible death of character during "Captain America: Civil War".
According to writer Tom Somerfield, Tony Stark's best friend James "Rhodey" Rhodes/War Machine could die in "Captain America: Civil War" and cited the first trailer of the film which sees him laying down, lifeless on Tony's arms, Moviepilot reported. Rhodes' War Machine armor is heavily damaged and it is suggested that this happened during a fight between his team and Cap's team in the airport.
Somerfield added that the arc reactor in Rhodes' armor is destroyed badly and speculates that this was Winter Soldier's fault since he tried claw out Iron Man's arc reactor in the trailer.
Another reason for War Machine to die is that Cheadle contract with Marvel might be ending very soon as he was previously rumored to die in "Avengers: Age of Ultron", but did not happened.
"Captain America: Civil War" will be released in cinemas on May 6, 2016.
