Fifty Shades of Grey actor Jamie Dornan upholds the film that it is not being anti-feminist or about BDSM (Bondage Domination Submission Masochism) but a love story.

Playing Christian Grey in the said film, Dornan believed that more men would like to be submissive than women. He also mentioned to Elle Magazine that the film is more of a love story than just kinky sex.

"I can understand why people say tying a woman up and spanking her is misogynistic. But actually, more men are submissive than women. Very powerful men," Dornan said in an interview with the magazine.

Moreover, Dornan said that the love story aspect of "Fifty Shades Of Grey" is much more important than its BDSM angle. He added that they are going to show the public a love story in the movie, all of the love story which makes the film and not simply showing all that's what happens inside the Red Room alone. That is how a film should be shown.

Dornan admits that he never had an idea how infamous the word BDSM was until he started playing his role in the film. He told that it was a surprise that in any city in the world, some people would like to be spanked with a paddle with studs in it during the intimacy moment.

For Dornan, it is surprisingly widespread and a bigger scene more than he imagined.
