Choosing an Apple tablet fit for your needs can be confusing and making a choice among iPad Air 2, iPad Pro, and iPad Mini 4 can be difficult.
According to a series of tests performed on these devices, Apple iPad Mini 4 is the winner in most of the categories, according to The Week. However, that does not mean that the other two are any less; they are also excellent devices in their own regard.
Display:
All the three iPad's come with the IPS LCD, but the overall performance of the screen varies. Another thing which varies is the size of the display screen, which is set at 7.9 inches, 9.7 inches and 12.9 inches for iPad Mini 4, iPad Air 2 and iPad Pro respectively.
Screen Resolution:
As for the screen resolution, the iPad Mini 4 comes with 326 x 264 pixels; the iPad Air 2 is set at 2048 x 1536 pixels, and the iPad Pro comes with the biggest display, which is 2732 x 2048 pixels. However, the iPad Mini 4 comes with the highest PPI amongst all the 3 iPad's.
Image Contrast Accuracy:
Now coming to the image contrast accuracy, the iPad Air 2 was the one to score the highest points, according to Tech Radar. Even though it topped the exam, its image contrast accuracy is not perfect; it is only close to the standard ratio.
In screen-related test performed, iPad Mini 4 did outperform the other iPad's. However, the iPad Air 2 and iPad Pro are still some of the best tablets currently in the market. iPad Mini 4 is a perfect textbook tablet, with a great LCD display and everything matching lab standards.
