With the latest reports on popular benchmark testing site GeekBench emerging out about a new Galaxy A Series, fans and other smartphone enthusiasts are hinting that it is the much anticipated Samsung Galaxy A9. Furthermore, the listing also pointed out that the phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 processor.
The reports clearly suggest that the phone, with the listed model number Samsung SM - A9000, comes with ARM Qualcomm at 1.40 GHz Octacore processor. It also features 3GB of RAM with an MSM8976 motherboard, which is actually a Snapdragon 620 model. It is rumored that the Samsung Galaxy A9 will sport a 1080p AMOLED 5.5 inch screen display with a 16MP rear camera and 5MP secondary camera.
The listing on GeekBench is not to be the first time that Samsung Galaxy A9 has been sighted. Previously, a GSM Arena report has indicated that Samsung had gone for trademark filling for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A9, just after the Mobile World Congress 2015. Even the Antutu website has shown the results of a Samsung device featuring a chipset, which coincidentally happens to be the same found on GeekBench and reported by GSM Arena.
Meanwhile, the rumored handsets Galaxy S7 and Galaxy A9 from the Korean manufacturer Samsung have been making headlines all over the web, and building the much needed hype and enthusiasm among the smartphone lovers, who are desperately waiting for much more updates from reliable and first hand sources.
With Samsung losing its market share partially over the last couple of years, and Apple strengthening its position in the Premium Smartphone Market, the expected new launches from Samsung are seen to be very crucial for the company to bounce back and go neck to neck at the Premium level market.
