"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 recently introduced two adorable couples on the show.
Maggie (Kelly McCreary) and Andrew's (Giacomo Gianniotti) "relationship" started off with a hook up at Meredith's (Ellen Pompeo) home.
After their rendezvous, Maggie woke up feeling extremely ashamed of her deed. Not only is she not the type of girl who hooks up with random guys, she also doesn't like the fact that she had sex with an intern.
Andrew, on the other hand, didn't seem to mind. In fact, he seemed like he wanted to ask Maggie when they would see each other again.
Fast forward to present time, Maggie and Andrew continue to hook up despite previously agreeing that they will stop doing so.
Meanwhile, Callie's (Sara Ramirez) new girlfriend Penny (Samantha Sloyan) was also introduced on the hit ABC show this season.
Unlike Maggie and Andrew, Callie and Penny's relationship is more serious because it is official.
Callie introduced Penny to her ex-wife Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) and all the doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital during their Thanksgiving episode.
Unfortunately, it was also revealed at that time that Penny was Derek's (Patrick Dempsey) doctor, and was the one who pronounced him dead.
Fans are now contemplating on which of these two breakout couples may be cuter together.
It seems that Maggie and Andrew could bring home the title only because audiences have already seen their silly side.
Seeing Callie and Penny's light-hearted sides during the second half of season 12 will also be wonderful for their characters.
"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 will return to ABC on Feb. 11, 2016.
