Zack Snyder's upcoming DC Comics film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" teaser trailer just surfaced online and it appears that the Man of Steel is going to be darker than before.
The events featured in the teaser trailer indicated that something is wrong with Superman, according to The Hollywood Reporter. While the Man of Steel is supposed to embody the values of truth, justice, and the American way, the scene he shared with the Dark Knight seemed to show the opposite in the recent teaser trailer.
The color scheme in the teaser trailer also boosted the thought that Superman could be a dark force in the film, as per Hit Fix. The scene involved sepia tones, which suggest and define the Man of Steel's disturbing dark side and the dark tone Snyder had for the upcoming DC Comics film.
Released on Dec. 1, the most recent teaser trailer of Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" saw Batman chained up by his wrists, along with other prisoners. Superman entered the scene and landed, with some guards in black uniform and looked at the Dark Knight, before he astonishingly unmasked the latter.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will set up the foundation to the rise of the superhero team Justice League. Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill are set to play Batman and Superman, respectively. The film also stars Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Jesse Eisenberg, and Amy Adams, among others.
Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on Mar. 25, 2016.
