Pan European Game Information has noted that "Shadow Complex Remastered" should only be played by individuals who are 16 years old or older as the improved edition of the 2009 game will be made available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The content rating system noted that "Shadow Complex Remastered" must be restricted from people who are 15 years old or younger because the platform-adventure video game has depictions of realistic violence.
Likewise, the official website of the "Shadow Complex Remastered" has revealed that the game can already be downloaded by players for free until Dec. 31 through the site, according to Polygon. However, only the PC version is currently available since the PS4 and Xbox One variants will be released next year.
Once the free download period ends, "Shadow Complex Remastered" will be sold for a price that has yet to be disclosed by game developer Chair Entertainment or publisher Microsoft Game Studios.
Chair Entertainment's co-founder and creative director Donald Mustard said that one of the primary goals of the gaming studio is to share "Shadow Complex" to many gamers using different platforms.
Mustard also expressed excitement since the release of "Shadow Complex Remastered" not only develops the universe of the game but also introduces the critically acclaimed game to new and old players alike.
"Shadow Complex Remastered" includes original content, improved graphics, various melee moves, new Achievements and even Master Challengers.
The first "Shadow Complex" game was released for the Xbox 360 back in 2009 through the Xbox Live Arcade, according to IGN. In 2011, Chair Entertainment noted that the game developer thought of producing a sequel, but the idea was eventually replaced by the intention to release the mobile game "Infinity Blade" on iOS.
No specific release date for the Xbox One and PS4 version of "Shadow Complex Remastered" has been provided by Chair Entertainment.
