"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 co-stars Mayim Bialik and Jim Parsons recently talked about Amy and Sheldon's highly-anticipated sex storyline.
In an interview with Glamour, Bialik said fans of the hit CBS show will have the chance to see Amy and Sheldon in bed before and after they have coitus.
The actress added that a lot of their scenes for episode 11 took place in the bedroom.
"So we see before and we see after. It's intense. You'll see us in bed together. We spent pretty much half that episode in bed together," she said.
Meanwhile, Parsons talked about what it's like for his character to lose his virginity with Amy.
While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Parsons revealed that he was surprised to find out that the creators of the show have finally decided to give their characters the said storyline.
However, Parsons believes that now is also the best time for Amy and Sheldon to have sex.
In other news, Parsons said that their scenes from "The Opening Night Excitation" will be sweet and fun to watch.
"It was fun to act. It wasn't hard to act," he said.
Bialik added, "Or icky!"
Parsons replied, "Or icky. Although, I never really thought it would be icky. I don't know why she says that. That may be a personal commentary."
"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 will air another episode first before Amy and Sheldon's big night.
"The Opening Night Excitation" will air on Dec. 17 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
