Moroccan winger Nabil El Zhar was the only player in Quique Setien's side that netted a goal and that was not enough to overcome the hat trick scored by Sporting striker Antonio Sanabria, who had two goals late in the second half after Los Amarillos defender Aythami Artiles was sent off at the 71st minute.

With the loss, Las Palmas remains in the relegation bottom three group, tied with Levante at the cellar of the league table with 10 points each.

Meanwhile, Real Betis managed to force a 1-1 draw against contending team Celta Vigo at their Estadio Benito Villamarín last Saturday, as per ESPN.

Os Célticos' Belgian forward Theo Bongonda gave his team the early lead at the 25th, but defender Jonny was sent off three minutes into the second half to allow Os Béticos captain Jorge Molina to equalize the game eight minutes before full-time.

Carrying over the momentum of their previous deadlock with Celta Vigo, Pepe Mel's men are anticipated to gain the victory over the hapless Yellows.

The prediction is a tough 1-0 decision for Real Betis.
