Mandarin popular music superstar Jay Chou will continue his singing career after his marriage on Jan. 18, Sunday, China Entertainment News reported.
Jay, a Taiwanese multi-hyphenate artist, is set to marry Dragon TV's "Dancing with the Stars" mainstay Hannah Quinlivan on Jan. 18.
Meanwhile, the 38-year-old Jay is busy promoting his new album, "Aiyo, Not Bad." The superstar told TVBS Global Chinese Music Chart that he will continue performing until he can and will never reduce his work load even after marriage.
"Aiyo, Not Bad" is Jay's 13th album. This album marks his return as a songwriter after years on directing and filming his musical film "The Rooftop." He was also on a world tour via "Opus 12."
"What Kind of Man (Suan Shen Me Nan Ren)," "Yang Ming Mountain (Yang Min Shan)" and "Listen to Father (Ting Ba Ba De Hua)" are among the new songs on the album, website Drama Fever revealed.
On the other hand, Hannah was spotted sobbing during her rehearsals for "Dancing with the Stars." The 21-year-old celebrity announced that she is leaving the competition as she will walk the aisle on Jan 18. After her performance, Hannah disclosed that when on stage, she felt extremely nervous. She decided to quit the competition to be fair to the other contestants, the China Entertainment News added.
The show's production team offered Hannah to think about her decision as they understand her two-week absences. However, Hannah is expected to appear during the Grand Finals.
Jay expressed his support to his fiancée. He told Hannah to continue working hard as she will be better in the future. He added that he liked the last part of her performance which is like a music video, the China Entertainment News said.
