"Attack on Titan" (AOT) season 2 release date has already been confirmed. The anime series will be aired in Japan Television or streamed online by February 2016. However, the series will not follow its original source material, Hajime Isayama's manga.
Reportedly, the schedule for the release of the anime series will be the same month that the "Attack On Titan" game will be launched.
Several spoilers have already emerged about "Attack on Titan" season 2. It is speculated that the season 2 will be the last one in the anime series, according to Reality Today. Season 2 storyline will revolve around the "104 Trainees Squad."
It is also rumored that fans will be treated to the demise of Ere Yaeger. It is likely that Ere Yaeger will not survive the fight involving him and Captain Smith.
The anime series will not be loyal to its original manga since it has been speculated that the main character will actually die in season 2. While the rumors might have emerged from the plot of the manga, some avid fans have also predicted that the death is inevitable.
On the other hand, chapter 73 of "Attack on Titan" manga series will focus on the death of Levi. The character will die while trying to save new members of his squad the Shiganshina trio, including Eren Yaeger, Armin Arlert, and Mikasa Ackerman.
Further spoiler concern Ymir, a 60-year-old character in "Attack on Titan" season 2, who has been wandering around the wall. She get back to her human body after eating Marcel, a friend to Bertolt, Reiner Braun, and Annie. Stay tuned for more spoilers about "Attack on Titan" season 2.
