Samsung is reportedly providing Apple some of its chips and components used in their products like iPhones and iPads.

Despite the ongoing issue regarding patent disputes still unresolved since Apple appealed to Judge Lucy Kho's decision in 2014 to deny Apple the sales ban, Apple still find it fitting and still choose Samsung to be its key producer of their components for their upcoming Apple Watch.

Apparently, Samsung will be producing its S1 system package component for the Apple Watch, Digitimes reported. The platform on the S1 system will be the main outline of the upcoming iWatch structure.

Apple iWatch is planned to be released this coming March, with this, report says that Apple is set to place order of about 3000 to 4000 12-inch wafers of chipsets from Samsung on a monthly basis.  Samsung will also be producing more iPhone and iPad components for the entire year 2015.

Despite the huge amount that will cost Samsung with regard to patent disputes with Apple, they are likely to get it all back and with some profits too. It is a major win for Samsung however, since the tech company is to continue producing chipsets for Apple devices indefinitely.

Apple also plans to acquire some of its components from a second generation manufacturer TSMC. However, no updates as of yet to tell if Apple would get solely from TSMC soon or will keep Samsung together with TSMC since the first generation Apple Watch is yet to be launched soon.

At this time, Samsung has been gaining revenues over Apple products and gadgets.
