"Suicide Squad" actor Jared Leto expressed his apologies to "Bad Blood" singer Taylor Swift after the former criticized the singer's song. On Dec. 7, Leto fixed the issue by tweeting an apology to the singer-songwriter.
The "Suicide Squad" actor said that he was sincerely sorry if he had hurt Swift or her fans. He wrote "The truth is I think Taylor Swift is amazing + an incredible example of what's possible."
According to TMZ, Leto was previously in the studio with his "Thirty Seconds to Mars" bandmates, using Swift's songs as inspiration. In a moment, the "Suicide Squad" actor shifted from praising Swift's "16 Count," to saying "F*** her. I don't give a f*** about her. It's what works best for us."
Leto reportedly complimented the verse in Swift's "Blank Space," according to Independent UK. The "Suicide Squad" actor reportedly baffled the line "long list of ex-lovers" with "Starbucks" lovers. In addition, actor also mentioned that he wanted to steal the Charli XCX-like beat, while adding that Swift's song "Style" was an interesting little pop song.
While many people would possibly interpret that Leto's "Thirty Seconds to Mars" should not be concerned with Swift's countable achievements and concentrate on their own music instead, many news headlines saying that he said "Screw Taylor Swift" surfaced online. In fact, there are some rumors saying that since Leto's video was complimentary, it may have been edited.
Leto and Swift have been seen on several events like award shows, thus, it is assumed that the two artists are in good terms for the time being.
