A post on Wednesday on her Instagram account by singer Nicki Minaj had fans speculating if she is now engaged to her boyfriend, rapper Meek Mill. Nicki posted a photo of her engagement finger with a large diamond ring.
The photo has the caption, "Now this is what I'm talking about baby. Lol. Love u," reports People. The image became viral and got almost 400,000 likes and elicited more than 21,000 comments.
It was a close up of her left hand that also showed her red manicure and the large bling-bling. She also posted a photo of her and Meek together which includes a close up shot of the ring.
That photo was taken at the 2015 American Music Awards on Nov. 22 held at Microsoft Theater. The 33-year-old rapper wore then a pink gown with a plunging neckline that displays her cleavage and parts of her breast, and it had gold designs on the shoulders, waist and cuffs. Nicki won the best rap/hip-hop artist award that night.
In one photo at the event, the same ring could be seen. She also appears to be wearing the same or a similar ring in a close up photo of her hand taken at the 57th Grammy Awards on Feb. 8 held at the Staples Center.
The couple, both rappers, are not new to engagement rumors since they have been asked the same question in April, although Mill, 29, denied in May any immediate wedding plans. He was quoted then as saying, "(Our relationship) is definitely real, but it ain't really time to get married yet ... We're still learning each other, feeling each other out."
Hollywoodtake notes that in October, the two placed a bid on a nine-bedroom home in Hollywood Hills.
