Hollywood has lost yet another seasoned comedian when Taylor Negron died on Jan. 11, Sunday, after a long battle with cancer. Among those are took to Twitter to pay tribute to him are his fellow comedians Billy Crystal, Kathy Griffin, Ben Stiller, Eric Stonestreet, and Dane Cook.
"So sad to hear of the loss of @Taylor_Negron. Brilliantly funny comedian actor and wonderful painter. #RestInPeace," Crystal wrote.
Griffin tweeted, "O @Taylor_Negron countless nights of laughing, bombing, crushing it, doing standup together. Best post show recaps ever! RIP."
"Taylor Negron was a very smart, funny caring individual with a unique comedic voice. #RESPECT," wrote Stiller who starred with Negron in "The Ben Stiller Show" in 1992.
"RIP comedian Taylor Negron. Always a terrific addition to any cast he worked with or show he performed on," Cook tweeted.
"Modern Family" star Stonestreet tweeted that he "admired Taylor Negron very much. He was a funny man. Rest In Peace."
In 1997, Negron played the role Alessandro in the series "Friends," which was almost two decades after his acting debut in the 1982 soap satire "Young Doctors In Love." In 2015, he is set to appear in upcoming films "Alienated" and "Love And Something Like It."
The late comedian's cousin Chuck Negron of the 1970s band Three Dog Night posted a video on YouTube to announce the bad news saying, "I want to inform you that my cousin Taylor Negron just passed away. His mother, his brother Alex and my brother Rene and his wife Julie were all there with him. May he rest in peace."
