With insider reports from Foxconn and other close sources to Apple, the rumored 4-inch iPhone might well come out with a colorful metal design.
The 4-inch iPhone is expected to be launched on Q1 2016, somewhere around February. With reports coming from a Japanese blog Mac Otakara, the launch of the new flagship device from Apple is just around the corner.
Most of the Apple smartphone users were not happy with the bigger size of Apple's 6S Plus, stating that "Apple now a part of the big screen race." With the rumored 4-inch iPhone sporting an exciting and attractive colorful metal design, users are due to enjoy the authenticity and innovation from Apple once again.
But debates reached sky high when rumors of the 4-inch iPhone featuring an old piece of hardware - the A8 chip - instead of the latest A9 chip have come out. The usage of old hardware such as A8, and thereby pricing it lower seems to have rubbed Apple fans on the wrong side.
It is said that many of Apple iPhone enthusiasts felt that using a latest hardware, yet a bit more expensive device, is a better option than using previous hardware and pricing it lower. Apple is also expected to withhold the 3D Touch onto the 4-inch iPhone in order to encourage users to adapt to 6S and 6S Plus.
The reported 4-inch iPhone is expected to be named as 6C, some sort of a budget device, roughly expected to be priced at $400 and $500 in the U.S.
