A December 2015 release date for both the Pokémon Z and Pokémon GO is next to impossible at this time, a new report said. For one thing, Nintendo remains silent on the matter and there are compelling reasons Zygarde, Xerneas and Yveltal will not have their grand debut this Christmas.
One thing is sure, according to Movie Pilot, Nintendo will not announce the latest serving of the Pokémon game series out of the blue and let out everything. Sad to say, fans looking forward for an exciting treat via the December 15 issue of the Japanese manga CoroCoro are in for a monumental disappointment.
If anything Pokémon will be carried by the magazine at all, it surely is a different thing from the anticipated game titles, the report said.
The way Nintendo operates will tell that a December rollout for both the Z and GO is already out of the question. Tracing back the company's release history, Movie Pilot noted that Nintendo normally announces a new game title to make it official then issues it at a later date.
In the case of the Pokémon X and Y, the unveiling was made January of 2013 but fans were made to endure more than nine months of waiting time as the availability did not happen until mid-October of the same year.
The same goes for the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire series when Nintendo uncloaked the titles May of 2014. The actual launch only followed some six months later.
And it will be the same release model for the Pokémon Z and GO, Movie Pilot said, also noting that aside from the rumors that center on Zygarde and other legendary characters nothing solid is provided on the Z narrative.
As for the Pokémon GO, it is highly unlikely that it will emerge, along with the Pokémon GO Plus device, on February 2016 as earlier speculated. Movie Pilot is convinced that GO remains in the beta state and the most sensible rollout time is in the second half of the year.
So what kind of a giant surprise that CoroCoro will unload next week? Going by the publication's record, "the December issue actually usually discusses the annual Pokémon movie," the blog report said. That would mean the Pokémon Z and GO release date details are still up in the air.
