The Milwaukee Bucks have made Miles Plumlee available to other NBA teams.
According to ESPN's Marc Stein, the Bucks have put Miles on the trading block to look for potential deals that could help Milwaukee compete in a surprisingly tough Eastern Conference.
Despite the addition of Greg Monroe this summer and the return of Jabari Parker, the Bucks have yet to showcase their magical run last season.
The Bucks are currently sitting just above the Philadelphia 76ers and the Brooklyn Nets with a 10-15 record and by the looks of it, the team needs a roster shakeup if they wish to reach the playoffs once again.
Miles is the only tradable asset the Bucks have. While he may not have much value for a trade, the Bucks could still get a solid pick in return.
Patrick Morgan of Sports lllustrated's Fansided proposed that the Bucks could send Miles to the Portland Trailblazers to reunite with his younger brother Mason Plumlee.
Morgan noted that the Blazers only have Mason and Chris Kaman at center position ever since the departure of LaMarcus Aldridge and Robin Lopez.
With Kaman out of his prime, Mason is the only legitimate center of Portland.
Miles is only averaging 1.7 points per game, but on very minimal minutes. But, Miles could give the Blazers some frontcourt energy as the Plumlee brothers had played effectively together during their times at Duke.
In return the Bucks could get Noah Vonleh, who could provide Milwaukee a solid defender and complement Greg Monroe's offensive game.
A Miles for Vonleh trade is possible, according to ESPN's trade machine. But it remains unclear whether the Blazers are interested in bringing the older Plumlee.
It is likely that the Bucks would strike a deal before the trade deadline as the team cannot manage to wait until their core roster clicks.
For the Blazers, they might as well try to explore trade possibilities with their playoff hopes looking cloudy in a stacked Western Conference.
