Taylor Swift’s “1989 World Tour Live” will begin exclusively streaming on Apple Music for free next Sunday.
The news comes on the heels of reports the “Blank Space” singer had turned down the music streaming service’s bid to get her chart-topping album on their platform over the summer.
Swift was reportedly in disagreement over Apple Music’s stance over not paying artists, producers and labels to stream their music during the free three month trials it offers its subscribers, Phone Arena said.
Apple Music eventually acquiesced to the singer’s demands, agreeing to pay royalties to stream her music during the free three month trial period.
Due to the amendment in Apple Music terms, Swift has agreed to have her “1989 World Tour Live” made available on the music streaming service, CNN Money reported.
The “Bad Blood” hitmaker, who recently celebrated her 26th birthday on Sunday, Dec. 13, informed her fans of the good news the very next day.
Swift’s “1989” tour, which began in May this year, and ended over the weekend in Melbourne, Australia , made over $240 million in ticket sales alone.
Among the songs in her 19-number set list included her chart topping singles “Blank Space,” “Shake it Off,” “Welcome to New York,” “I Knew You Were Trouble,” “Love Story,” and “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”
The entire set list, including the video footage of her tour shot in Sydney, Australia which featured big name guests like Justin Timberlake and Mick Jagger, will be made available for free on Apple Music starting Dec. 20.
