A Taylor Swift fan received an unexpected FedEx box that was changed to say "SwiftEx." After the new broke online, someone is apparently trying to buy a video of the fan opening the package. On the other hand, the fan was not interested.
"I have absolutely no interest in someone buying a video of me for them to make money off of it for Taylor's generosity," the fan tweeted.
The surprise package addressed to Rebekah Bortnicker was from Swift who recently released her fifth studio album titled "1989," The Blaze reported.
While receiving a package from Swift alone is surprising enough for Bortnicker as it is for any Swiftie, what was inside the package was even more surprising.
Swift wrote to Bortnicker, "Rebekah, now you're $1989 closer to paying off those student loans." The fan, who needed to make a payment for her student loans but no longer had a job, took to Twitter to express how surprised and overwhelmed she was.
"I JUST LOVE TAYLOR SO MUCH AND I CAN'T THANK HER ENOUGH FOR THIS," Bortnicker tweeted.
On Jan. 12, Monday, Bortnicker posted a video of herself opening the surprise SwiftEx package from the pop star. Titled "Opening my gifts from Taylor," the seven-minute video has gone viral.
"Oh my God," Bortnicker utters as she opens the package.
Aside from the $1989 check, Bortnicker also received a painting by Swift, a necklace and a handwritten card that reads, "Hi you. I was thinking about you today and how you have been there cheering me on in the most thoughtful and creative ways. I love the video you made me of me and my friends, and your text posts always crack me up or make me think."
Prior to this, Swift was seen panicking when she spotted her former boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal at a Golden Globes after party at Hollywood hotspot Chateau Marmont on Jan. 11, Sunday, Hollywood Life reported.
