A beautiful 29-year-old Russian gymnast is making waves with her forthcoming 2016 calendar. Julia Guenthel, more known as Zlata, shows in the calendar why she deserves the title "World's most flexible woman."
Guenthel, whose gift of flexibility was discovered when she was four and has been practicing contortion since she was six, went to circus school and holds multiple Guinness World Records such as the fastest time to burst three balloons with her back which she set in 2007 and opening the most beer bottles in one minute using her feet which she established in 2011, reports the New York Post.
Her more risqué photo shoot, which Zlata - who stands 5 feet, 8 inches - says she wants to show her charms in the new calendar, titled "Beauty Embodied in Flexibility," was done after she separated from her husband in early 2015.
Among the photos to watch out for are Guenthel in a white, lacy ballerina leotard performing a vertical split, with one foot in a pointe she on the ground and the other high above her head. Another image is half of her upper body peeking through her legs. In this photo, she wore a yellow and red corset and stilettos.
Guenthel, who currently lives in Germany, could fit into a 50-centimeter square box. She could also bend backwards at a 90-degree angle in which the back half of her hands touch her feet and she could see through her flexible legs from behind, reports Daily Mail.
However, the real secret to Zlata's rubber-like body is she has a rare condition that makes all her tendons very pliant.
