"Tekken" fans were slightly disappointed as PlayStation Experience 2015 happened without any news regarding the up and coming "Tekken 7." However, the VR compatibility rumors only grew wilder despite not having straightforward confirmations.
"Tekken" game director, Katsuhiro Harada, responded to a fan's question regarding any news about "Tekken 7." He tweeted , "I think not this time."
Namco, "Tekken 7: developer, surely did not announce any news that day about the seventh installment of the popular fighting game. This caused fans to be impatient and disappointed who cannot wait to receive at least some part of the upcoming content during the PlayStation event.
"Tekken 7" is reportedly being shaped up to become a larger scale game in terms of its fighting series, as was revealed by the game developer last year. The game will besiege the last episode of the previous intallment which is the Mishima Clan series, Attack of the Fan Boy reported.
The "Tekken 7" is also rumored to be adaptable with PlayStation VR, because Unreal Engine 4 is utilized in the creation of the game, Vine Report reported. Harada stated via Twitter that they are "Working on new graphics."
"Tekken 7" most recent information also reveals that the development was started in October during the Paris Games Week where the fighting game was confirmed to roll out for both Xbox one and PlayStation 4 consoles. Harada also said that he is talking with Sony to enable the addition of "Tekken" Tunes in the game's full version.
"Tekken 7" is expected to roll out for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2016.
