Reeling squad Swansea City AFC (3-8-5, 14 points) is set to face equally struggling team West Ham United FC (6-4-6, 24 points) in a 2015-2016 Premier League season matchup at the Liberty Stadium on December 20th, Sunday.

Swansea lost its third game in a row as it fell to erstwhile league leader Manchester City, 1-2, at the Etihad Stadium last Saturday, as reported by BBC Sport.

City forward   Wilfried Bony opened scoring with a goal at the 26th minute that held on until full time when the Swans' Bafetimbi Gomis managed to level the count at 1-all. However, Alan Curtis' boys squandered the draw when another City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho, was able to net the winner two minutes into injury time.

Swansea had been winless in its last six matches to fall dangerously close to relegation in the 17th spot of the league table.

Meanwhile, West Ham has also not won in its last six games, settling for a goalless draw with Stoke City in their last match at the Upton Park on December 12th, via Goal.

The Hammers fell to the eighth spot in the league table due to the deficiency of wins during the past several weeks.

The predicted result is a tough 2-1 victory for Swansea City. The Swans pull off a mild upset against the Hammers and at the same time give themselves some breathing room from being relegated into the bottom three.
