"Persona 5" would not be available until 2016. Katsura Hashino, the game's director, however, recently revealed a number of interesting details about its story. He talked about the narrative themes and what makes it a unique one.
The "Persona 5" player agency is way different from the previous titles. Unlike the old games, the protagonist and his group don't begin their adventure from a place where they need to use their personas in order to survive. Instead of feeling alienated from the present world, they can just unleash their personas in a particular place named the Palace.
Hashino shared with Game Informer, "We think that sense of agency is one of the charms of this title." It's one of the aspects we're most excited to bring to you. It's the characters' choices that ultimately trigger the attention of an even greater enemy."
In "Persona 5" gamers are allowed to navigate between the real world and the phantom thief world aiming to change the society, Design Trend reported. Interactive with one's party of friends is important to further make the experience more promising. These friends include Yusuke, who is an artsy student, Morgana, who looks like a cat, Ryuji, a mischievous partner, and more. Everyone of them summon beings, also known as personas that reflect their inner desires.
What's new about Morgana is that the character does not appear like a cute cat only but also a teacher-like figure that allows you to navigate your quests. The character is not yet sure about his or her identity, so what they did was leverage the protagonist's journey and abilities in order to find out.
"Persona 5" has been a work in progress for quite some time and now it is scheduled to be released in 2016 on both PS3 and PS4.
