Jose Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea FC on Dec. 17, 2015, following poor displays in the English Premier League.
Mourinho has been sacked just seven months after he led Chelsea to win the English Premier League last season as reported by Independent. The Portuguese, who took over in June 2013 for his second spell at the club, was informed of the end of his reign as the manager of Chelsea in a meeting with the club's board.
Chelsea manager, Mourinho, who revealed earlier this week that he has a "mole" within the ranks of his squad who was "betraying" him saw his last match on Monday night where his side lost 2-1 to Leicester City. At the time of his dismissal, the Portuguese tactician's former team was a point above the relegation zone and 20 points behind the league leaders Leicester City having lost 9 of their last 16 games.
According to the Telegraph, the 52-year-old will be looking for various scapegoats to blame given that Eva Carneiro, Chelsea's former doctor quit after Mourinho lashed out at her after their open day draw 2-2 draw with Swansea FC. Diego Costa may be a possible scapegoat of Jose Mourinho's misfortunes given his constant complaining and poor performance. Mourinho had to bench him for a couple of matches due to poor performances and recently Diego Costa threw his training bib at Jose Mourinho in frustration.
There are already rumors of who Jose Mourinho's successors are going to be most notably, Guus Hiddink, Brendan Rodgers and Pep Guardiola.
