Fans of CyberConnect 2's upcoming title "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is already available as a playable demo via Xbox One and PS4 platforms.
However, there is a catch for PlayStation users. Currently, only the European PlayStation Network features the playable demo. The developer has not yet announced a definite release window for the North American PSN. Both North American and European Xbox Marketplace carry the demo for Xbox One players, Saiyan Island reported.
The demo will reportedly feature boss battle between Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha. PC users will have to wait for the full version of the game, as it does not seem like a Steam free demo will come. A trailer, seen below, samples the dubbed version of "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" playable demo.
Apart from the release of the playable demo, the developer has also released a few more details about the game. Specifically, the "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" website has given more details on the Ninja Treasures, Shonen Gamez reported. According to the source, these Treasures can be traded in for costumes and other items.
Previously seen in a Weekly Shonen Jump scan, the Ninja Treasures can be obtained by going through the gameplay of "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4." CyberConnect 2 has not hinted the possibility of paid micro-transactions in order to get Ninja Treasures, so the only way to get them is to play the game.
A new scan from the source has also been translated to show the Ninja Treasures. Ninja Treasures can be used to customize the ninja cards. These serve as one's information card. Substitution items are also obtainable with the Ninja Treasures, and players can collect up to 80 of them in "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4."
Finally, the new details also touch on the Free Battle mode. This mode basically allows players to use their favorite characters so they can battle freely. According to the scans, the mode will let players explore the different systems in the game.
Some snapshots of the modes in "Nauto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" can be seen in the new info sheet. It not only details the different modes, but also shows some of the loading screens associated with each mode.
