Lifespark Entertainment will be bringing "Rack N Ruin" game with a classic shmup to Playstation 4 soon. "Rack N Ruin" features a hectic and fast, shooter-style combat through a hand-painted video game platform, which was developed by Tyler Hunter, the former Blizzard artist.
"Rack N Ruin", a top-down adventure game, has been in progress for the last three years and in the near future, PlayStation 4 gamers will have the opportunity of exploring its world as the "evil" guy.
The development of this game was propelled by a deep desire to recapture the wonders of traditional adventure games such as "Legend of Zelda", but with a modern approach, the developer explains.
The gamers will play the character of Rack, the evilest evil in the history of evil, who is mandated by Ruin- the dark master, to enslave the planet of innocent people. In compliance, Rack will corrupt the planet through poisoning it and transforming animals into demons.
Gamers will also experience a battle against the protectors of good like Amon, the Dragon protector.
With spells, special items, and 25 weapons such as turrets and bombs that have the capacity to transform into tornados of fire and black holes, Rack's power will intensify. Ultimately, he will be faced with the decision of whether to deliver apocalypse or allow Ruin to take over things.
"Rack N Ruin" is already at its final stage, according to PlayStation Blog. This will be made available for PS4 really soon. For now, a specific release date cannot be revealed yet. Here is the trailer:
