Lowly club Frosinone Calcio (4-10-2, 14 points) takes on contending squad AC Milan (7-5-4, 25 points) in a 2015-2016 Serie A season encounter at the Stadio Matusa this Sunday, December 20 as both teams try to bounce back from their previous impediments.
Frosinone suffered its second straight defeat with a 1-4 romp in the hands of Palermo last Saturday at the Stadio Renzo Barbera, via SkySports.
The Canaries were able to score a goal at the 24th minute with a right-footed close range shot from midfielder Paolo Sammarco, but it was right after Palermo had already built a two-point lead with scores from defender Edoardo Goldaniga and forward Franco Vazquez at the fifth and 17th minutes.
Two more goals by Rosanero in the second half from forwards Aleksandar Trajkovski and Alberto Gilardino completed Palermo's four-goal haul and buried any comeback chances Roberto Stellone's side has in the game.
Meanwhile, Milan was forced to a 1-1 draw by cellar-dwelling club Hellas Verona at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza last Sunday, as per Four Four Two.
The game was scoreless in the first half until I Rossoneri striker Carlos Bacca finally found the back of the net at the 52nd minute to take the lead.
However, midfielder Nigel de Jong was sent off at the 56th, which gave Siniša Mihajlović's team a one-man disadvantage, allowing Gialloblu to tie the count at the 57th with a penalty kick from Luca Toni.
The prediction is a 1-0 win for AC Milan. The Red-and-Blacks shake off their two straight drawn games to finally win one again.
