Snoop Dogg will not pass on his legacy as a weed smoker as his son Cordell Broadus said that he does not "mess" with smoking pot.
The Bishop Gorman High School wide receiver was featured in an ESPN documentary titled "Snoop & Son: A Dad's Dream," in which Broadus clarified that he does not do any smoking of any kind, according to TMZ.
"If you're an athlete, you shouldn't cheat your body," Cordell said on the documentary.
On the other hand, Snoop Dogg also wants the same as his son. He said that Cordell should not be anywhere near weed. He said that he does not smoke when Cordell is around and he supports his son's dream in becoming a top-notch athlete.
Cordell has not decided yet on what college he will be entering, but his decision will be featured in the final episode of the documentary on Feb. 4.
However, Cordell was not always interested in football. When he was six-years-old, Snoop paid him $2,000 to play football. He said that he is required to pay it back when he makes to the NFL.
The 43-year-old rapper also became a grandfather recently. Corde Broadus, his eldest son, and wife Jessica Kyzer had a baby boy they called Zion, according to the US Magazine.
Snoop posted a short video on Instagram where he holds his new grandson.
In another photo, Snoop's wife holds baby Zion.
Corde, like his father, also smokes weed. He dropped from college in order to pursue his rap career with the name "Spanky Danky."
