"The Flash" Season 2 is currently on a winter break and will not resume its run until late January 2016. The show will return with Episode 10 of the season, which is expected to see the aftereffects of the winter finale fall out. Here are few spoilers for the forthcoming midseason premiere of The CW superhero show. Read on to find out what happens next.

In Episode 9 "Running to Stand Still," Flash came face to face with his enemies, the Trickster and Weather Wizard. After much of a fight, our hero was able to defeat his foes with the help of Harrison Wells/Earth 2 and Cisco. Fans were also introduced to Wally West, the third incarnation of The Flash.
The episode ends with a shocker. Harrison Wells strikes a deal with the big bad Zoom, who has kidnapped his daughter. In return of his daughter's freedom, he asks Harry to make Barry faster so that he can steel his speed.
Moving on the Episode 10 of "The Flash" Season 2. While the network is yet to release a synopsis for the midseason premiere, the title for the highly-anticipated segment and some promos are already out.
The Episode 10 is titled "Potential Energy" and it will see Patty in grave danger. Just when Barry Allen decides to tell his one true love Patty that he is The Flash, Zoom takes Patty in his custody. Towards the end of the promo video, Patty can be seen in tied to a chair in despair.
"If Zoom finds out who you care for, who you love, he will take them away from you," Harry tells Barry. Will Patty find out Barry's truth? Will Barry be able to save Patty before it's too late. Scroll down to watch the promo video.
In addition, fans can expect to see more of Keiynan Lonsdale's Wally West. In an interview with Just Jared, the actor talked about his appearance in "The Flash" Season 2 Episode 10 and sharing screen time with Jesse L. Martin.
"There's a scene in episode 10 that I have with Jesse L. Martin, and it's been my favourite to shoot so far. He makes it so easy to deliver a real performance because he's so giving as an actor. I hope the audience enjoys it too," Lonsdale told the website.
