A Hungarian comic artist has posted a puzzle image on Facebook that caused netizens to go crazy trying to find one panda in a sea of snowmen. The post has received tens of thousands of Likes and shares throughout the world, as well as positive and negative comments from various puzzle solvers.
The image was created by Hungarian comic artist Gergely Dudás, who uses the pen name Dudolf. He posted the picture of snowmen to Facebook on December 16, according to CNET.
Facebook users have posted different responses after trying to solve the optical illusion. Some explained they had looked in vain for the panda bear in the picture, while others gave up and claimed it did not exist in the image, according to CBS News.
Still other social network users explained that they were able to solve the optical illusion in a few seconds. One of the key factors is how well a person's mind is able to trick their eyes, and thus prevent them from solving the problem.
Many Facebook users gave a helpful suggestion to help people find the solution. They recommended focusing on the carrot noses of the snowmen.
Dudolf posted another holiday puzzle image on December 20, Sunday. However, this time the goal of the optical illusion is to spot the cat that is hiding among several rows of owls.
A similar trick used to find the panda among the snowman can be used to find the cat among the owls. It is based on the fact that a cat's nose has a much different appearance than an owl's break.
