The death of pop singer Yao Beina has been transformed into something worth celebrating after it paved the way for other's lives to be improved.
After learning she had a few months to live, then-33-year-old songstress decided to donate both of her corneas upon her death.

Even before the operation, Dong expressed his utmost gratitude to the singer and her family for choosing him as a cornea recipient.
"As a recipient, I want to stand up and give positive energy to other people. I was shocked and touched. I just want to say thank you to Yao and her parents," he said.
