Mercedes-Benz super luxurious car has revived its Maybach brand with an ever plusher S-series limo version. Director Development of the Mercedes S-class Dr Henmann-Joseph Storp, admits that it is all about the cushions, The Telegraph reported.
Besides the technological advancements, the comfort and safest features the latest S-series have the most comment that say is the pillow-like cushions attached on the headrest of the car seats. The specially designed headrests were solely designed for the Mercedes Maybach alone.
The luxury car maker halted the manufacturing of the Maybach series in 2012 due to its poor sales performance in the earlier years. However, the car model series is back again under the Mercedes-Mayback brand carrying the S-series model rather than release it carrying a standalone brand name.
Storp disclosed that there will also be other Mercedes cars for release that will carry the Maybach versions; the GLC 4x4 is definitely will have the Maybach appearance and features. The E-class models will fit much in China once released in Asia; China is the company's projected biggest market soon.
Maybach series is also planning to launch its six-seater Pullman S-class which intensifies the 207mm stretch the "standard" Maybach adds over long wheel base S-class.
Storp revealed that it took two years of hard work to create the most quiet saloon car in the globe. It is the most silent car to be driven-in. The initial price of the Mercedes-Maybach S600 model is at around £165,700. The luxury car maker giant's first UK delivery will start this June, according to Autocar UK.
