"Gran Turismo" is definitely one of the best racing video game franchises on market, providing many reiterations and giving players many hours of enjoyment. Amid increasing new video game titles, interest in "Gran Turismo" still has not reduced since fans are now waiting for the release of the seventh installment.
However, avid fans might have to wait longer than expected because Sony is currently focused on "Gran Turismo Sport." The game was announced during the Paris game Week that happened in late October. Those fans who were expecting to see "Gran Turismo 7" and thought "Gran Turismo Sport" is just the same sequel with a new name were left in confusion.
Sony has cleared the confusion and clarified that the two titles were different. Jim Ryan, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe's president and CEO, said that the company will not announce the upcoming "Gran Turismo 7" now, according to Eurogamer. The CEO could not as well offer a definite release date for the highly anticipated game.
Although it is not the game they are waiting for, gamers can still get a lot of enjoyment out of the upcoming "Gran Turismo Sport." The game will reportedly have three different modes ' the Campaign, the Arcade Mode, and the Sports Mode.
Avid fans still clamoring for "Gran Turismo 7" can wait for the game to be released by 2017. Apart from developers working for a 2017 or earlier release, there are rumors that "Gran Turismo 7" beta version will be released next year, Ecumenical News reported.
With regard to those who are always skeptical, Ryan cleared the air via the Eurogamer report that "Gran Turismo" producer Kazunori Yamauchi will deliver the game on schedule.
