Nintendo recently confirmed the last trio of Amiibo figures at the December "Super Smash Bros" Direct. Currently, there is yet a definite release date for Cloud, Bayonetta, and Corrin.
According to Tech Times, other three newest Amiibo including Ryu, Roy, and ROB will finally get their own figures on March 18, 2016. The main concern is whether Nintendo has a big Star Fox Amiibo push schedule for the spring.
Another known Amiibo so far is the Shovel Knight Amiibo, which will hit the game on Jan. 8, 2016. However, it is unlikely that the Cloud, Bayonetta, and Corrin Amiibo trio will be released before the ones that have already been announced. This implies that gamers should expect seeing the character sometime in April or May at the earliest for the last set of "Super Smash Bros" Amiibos.
The April or May release is a long wait considering that "Super Smash Bros" first came out in 2014, iDigital Times reported. The last Amiibos would not be released until almost two years after the first release of the game. The trend seems to be in line with Nintendo's longest DLC lifecycle for a single game ever.
Meanwhile, it will be worth glomming onto the rumors that Cloud Amiibo the soonest possible. It is likely that Cloud Amiibo will not be around "Super Smash Bros" for too long.
However, the most significant thing is that Nintendo has a tradition of using some of its Amiibos in later games, such as Shulk in "Xenoblade Chronicles 3D." given that it is clear possible that "Final Fantasy VII" remake will at some point come to Nintendo NX, players may want to lock down the Cloud Amiibo while they can.
