After remaining on the headlines all year long for her outrageous antics and embarrassing Instagram posts, Miley Cyrus seemed to be lonely during the festive time.
The singer treated her fans to a new song called "My Sad Christmas Song" on SongCloud on Christmas Eve, in which she is sounding constantly yearning for company during the year-end festivities.
"Why even put up f**king tree, if there's no one here who is going to see just how pretty she looks on Christmas Eve because there's no one here next to me," sings the 23-year-old star in her latest track.
Based from the lyrics that the former Disney star is missing her last year's Christmas that she famously spent with her ex Patrick Schwarzenegger. Although she was reportedly barred from attending her ex's family Christmas dinner by his mother Maria Shriver, she spent the New Year's Eve with Patrick and his father Arnold Schwarzenegger in his home town.
After breaking up with Patrick, Cyrus remained single for the next few months after which she allegedly hooked up with Victoria Secret model Stella Maxwell. The two were filmed in July making out in a parking lot in full public view, TMZ reported.
Apart from her love life, Cyrus' endeavor towards gender sensitization also brought her in the limelight in 2015. Not only she started her own foundation to benefit LGBT and homeless youths, she also called out ignorant senators for allegedly criticizing the movement for equality.
Cyrus continued to embrace nudity throughout the year through her Instagram posts and her various stage appearances. The singer is said to be in talks with the band Flaming Lips to come up with a nude concert wherein not only the performers, but the audience will also be asked to strip down to nothing if they want to attend the show, The Guardian reported.
