"Dance Mom" star Maddie Ziegler has spoken about the controversial dance in Sia Furler's "Elastic Heart" music video featuring her and Shia LaBeouf. It appears she learned method acting from the actor to make the fight dance appear realistic.
"I really did bite Shia," Ziegler told Entertainment Tonight. "It was gross because we were dirty and I had to bite his dirty hands. I kept wiping myself off and I kept handing the wipes to Shia and he was like, 'I don't need the wipes' and I was like, 'Yes, you do.'
Ziegler said she brought perfume because she did not want LaBeouf's smell. At first, LaBeouf resisted it saying he was totally fine with it and he did not care, but Ziegler eventually succeeded in getting him to see things her way.
In 2014, LaBeouf starred with Brad Pitt in the box-office hit World War II movie "Fury," which he claimed made him a Christian.
"I found God doing 'Fury.' I became a Christian man not in a f--king bull---t way but in a very real way," LaBeouf said in an interview with Interview Magazine. He graced the cover of the magazine's November 2014 issue.
Playing a soldier with a war name "Bible," LaBeouf said he could have just said the prayers that were on the page in "Fury," but it was a real thing that really saved him.
The actor described "Bible" as "a Christian man, a righteous man, who will tell you the difference between killing and murder and there is a big difference.
He added that the character "lives his life by the book, but still will kill you if you are on the other side, and he'll have no problems sleeping at night."
