ZTE USA is the second largest smartphone provider in terms of prepaid handsets, and the fourth largest provider in the U.S. At the CES 2016, ZTE launched two of its value-packed handsets, the Avid Plus and the Grand X3. This is what ZTE is all about for now though none of these devices will compete in terms of specifications. This is a solid device offered for a reasonable price. So here is a comparison of the two newly released mobile phones.
The ZTE Avid Plus is packed with a 5-inch LCD display with 854x480P resolution. It comes with a 1GB RAM and 8G ROM that can be expanded to 32GB through a microSD slot. It is powered by a Qualcomm quad-core processor at 1.1GHz. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. It has a 5MP camera with autofocus LED flash and 2MP FFC to handle video chatting and selfies. The battery is 2300mAh which last eight hours of talking and 350 hours of standby.
Meanwhile, the ZTE Grand X3 is packed with 5.5-inch TFT LCD HD display with 1280x720P resolution. It offers 2GB RAM with expandable 16GB up to 64GB through a microSD slot. It is powered with Qualcomm quad-core processor at 1.3GHz. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It has 8MP main camera with autofocus LED flash, with 2MP front-facing camera for video chatting and selfies. It also has Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Dolby Audio. It has a removable battery of 3000mAh.
The new ZTE mobile phones Avid Plus and Grand X will reach the American market very soon. The Avid Plus having a price tag of $115 through T-Mobile, while the Grand X 3 will cost around $130 through Cricket Wireless. These phones are expected to be out on Jan. 20, so please wait a little further!
