Fashion model Sonia Sui confirms that she and beau Tony Chia had already tied the knot in Las Vegas and are planning on organizing a wedding banquet in Taiwan this coming May.
Sui confirmed during a year-end party she attended held by a shoe brand rumors that she has already sealed her four-month relationship with the businessman via exchange of marriage vows on Jan. 10 at the Clark County in Nevada.
According to Sui, she and her better-half is yet to decide on when they would acquire their Taiwanese marriage certificate, but that they are considering holding a wedding banquet May this year.
According to Asian Pop News, the newly wed were introduced to each other by Taiwanese singer Lai Pei-Hsia who is also Chia's stepmother.
Since the two were together for only four months, several people speculated that Sui might be pregnant.
However, Lai, talking about news of the couple's wedding, had implied that the two had not undergone the ceremony under whim.
"That's right! They are very sincere in this relationship and are very happy," she stated.
Sui's manager also dismissed the pregnancy rumors and emphasized that the actress-model was not pregnant.
Meanwhile, the 34-year-old Taiwanese celebrity also expressed her envy with Jay Chou's fairytale-like wedding with Hannah Quinlivan in a castle in England.
"It's a little too much. Jay set a high standard and other men would feel great pressure," she stated, but explained that when one meets "Mr. Right," "everything else becomes natural."
"Tony has great respect for my career. He said that if I want to work in Taiwan, he will return to Taiwan with me. And if I don't want to work anymore, then he will support me," she declared.
